Terry Dry is a seasoned, future-focused entrepreneur, marketer, CEO, and advisor with more than 25 years of experience founding, scaling, and reinventing companies. Today, he is the co-founder and CEO of The Smarter Service, a tech concierge provider for older adults and senior living communities.

After experiencing firsthand how difficult it was for older loved ones to stay connected in a digital world, Terry recognized a gap — not in the technology itself, but in how it’s accessed, understood, and embraced by older generations. The Smarter Service was created to bridge that digital divide. Through personalized tech support, curated guidance, and empathetic help, the company helps older adults live more connected, confident, and independent lives, while also providing peace of mind to their families.

In addition to leading The Smarter Service, Terry is the founder of Future Proof Advisors, where he and a network of seasoned advisors help mid-market companies break through growth barriers and unlock their full potential. Known as a “pragmatic visionary,” Terry blends innovative thinking with real-world business solutions, making him a sought-after partner for companies navigating transformation.

Terry’s entrepreneurial track record includes co-founding RSVD, a SaaS business providing digital capacity solutions for the retail, food, and hospitality industries. RSVD successfully merged with Whyline, which was later acquired by CLEAR (NYSE: YOU). He also co-founded Fanscape, one of the first social media marketing agencies, which grew from a $10K investment to an eight-figure acquisition by Omnicom.

Terry’s career began in the music industry, ultimately serving as VP of Artist Development at Interscope/A&M Records (Universal Music Group), and later launching his own artist management company.

An advocate for leadership development, Terry serves as Entrepreneur-in-Residence and Board Advisor at Loyola Marymount University and mentors MBA students at USC’s Marshall School of Business, his alma mater. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children and is actively involved in causes supporting homelessness and environmental protection.
